TRU. Liveset at IMX China 2021
This live performance at the International Music Expo (IMX) 2021 in China combines a video installation by the artist _4.x with three tracks from the album "Berlin Noize". It was broadcasted on October 30th, 2021.
BRIGHT NOIZE – Music Video
Atmospheric pad sounds closely interwoven with dynamic noise forming a solid layer, while a driving bass is piercing below and partly breaking through.
LESS NOIZE – Music Video
A continuous bass unpredictably breaking into pieces, setting subtle accents or screeching noise stitches, while a calm bell is balancing the unrest.
IN THE UNDERGROUND CAR PARK
A restrained bass groove constantly pushed by screamingly high, yet inconspicuous bleeps, is suddenly interrupted by shrill lead-pieces smashing the whole scenario and leaving the images as well as the girl overwhelmed by the action.
3 VS. 1 – Film Scene
Heavy dissonant pad and bell sounds are creeping up, crushing each other ominously, then disappearing abruptly as crisp, raspy bass notes depose them. Leaving the pictures in between without protection and footing - matching the girl’s situation perfectly.
CHAPTERS – Commercial
A solid marching bass line adorned with fine bells and circled by a rough lead, which suddenly attracts full attention with a wide-open filter and disappears again in the next second. Just as the dynamic pictures are demanding it.
